Introducing - Threads of Virtue


New System

We are adding a Star Wars The Old Republic-like system called Threads of Virtue to Armordeus. Based on certain user decisions, you might have branching dialogue/decision-making options you otherwise would not have the more and more you progress into the game. This will start after you reach the Smoldering Dungeon.

Essentially, the user will have the option to pick "good" or "bad" decisions, which only means you can be "good" or "evil." The good side will be Argons, and the bad side will be Deceptives. The more and more you pick bad or good dialogue, the more and more "XP" you will get in those respective Virtues. This will persuade the story and result in the player getting different team/party members, dialogue options, storylines, endings, and other fancy things we decide to implement into this system.

This also means that the side quests you do for random people around the world will help shape your main storyline quests, as you will be able to earn the ability to say or do things within your storyline that you otherwise were not able to say or do. We think this will add a fun layer to the game and reward the user for doing side quests, which we believe many games do not reward you with other than the typical gear, money, and XP rewards.
